MoMA

I recently took a trip to the Museum of Modern Art in the city with the Fam. So naturally, you have to stop by and see the tree, and the top of the Rock (which was awesome) and everything else that was around. So here's some pictures and videos from the trip.

The Museum of Modern Art was terrific. Unfortunately pictures were prohibited in most of the good exhibits. LIKE THE VAN GOGH EXHIBIT! But it was really all very nice. You really can't have a respect for these classics unless you see them in person. My favorite was deff Van Gogh's Starry Night. But there's like a four-way tie for my second favorite painting. This includes one of Jackson Pollocks (I can't remember the exact name, but it was HUGE, and was splattered against a piece of canvas the size of a wall), a wall with several prints of different andy warhol soup cans, one of the Piet Mandrian pieces, and the Picasso painting of five women. Like I said, it's a totally different experience, seeing these masterpieces in person. Really a great trip if any artist ever gets the chance.
